About the TechBridge Program
Applications are now open for the TechBridge Program, a fully funded initiative designed to equip residents of Lagos and Port Harcourt with in-demand tech skills and career-launching opportunities. This program is an excellent chance for young Nigerians to gain expertise in high-demand fields such as design, digital marketing, product management, and front-end web development, as well as essential workplace and life skills.
Program Overview
The TechBridge Program is implemented by NerdzFactory Company in Lagos and Olotu Square in Port Harcourt, with funding from the World Bank in partnership with the Federal Ministry of Education and the National Board for Technical Education under the IDEAS project. This collaboration ensures participants receive high-quality training and valuable exposure to kickstart their careers in the tech industry.
Courses Available
Participants can choose from the following courses:
Lagos:
- Digital Marketing
- Product Management
- Front-end Web Development (JavaScript, CSS, HTML)
Port Harcourt:
- Design (Graphics and Product Design)
- Digital Marketing

Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible for the TechBridge Program, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Residency: Must be a resident of Lagos or Port Harcourt with a valid National Identification Number (NIN).
- Age: Applicants should be between 18 and 35 years old.
- Availability: Must commit to participating in the entire duration of the training, including post-training activities such as certification, internship placements, and mentorship.
- Education: Applicants must have completed at least secondary education.
Application Deadline: September 15, 2024.
