Job Summary
Drugstore Nigeria is seeking a temporary DevOps Engineer to join our team remotely. The successful candidate will handle day-to-day tasks involving infrastructure as code (IaC), software development, continuous integration, system administration, and Linux. This role is perfect for a candidate who thrives in a remote work environment and can work independently.
Key Responsibilities
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Implement and manage infrastructure using IaC practices.
- Software Development: Collaborate with development teams to integrate and automate development processes.
- Continuous Integration: Set up and maintain continuous integration pipelines to ensure efficient development workflows.
- System Administration: Oversee the administration and maintenance of Linux-based systems.
- Cloud Platform Management: Utilize cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) for infrastructure deployment and management.
- Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues related to infrastructure, development, and system operations.
- Containerization: (Optional) Manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.
- Experience:
- Proficiency in infrastructure as code (IaC) and system administration.
- Hands-on experience with software development and continuous integration.
- Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.
- Skills:
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage tasks remotely.
