During the 4-6 week intensive internship, you’ll acquire practical application development skills using Python, Go, and/or TypeScript. You’ll work with state-of-the-art cloud platforms like Amazon Web Services, gaining full-stack experience in application development.
Language Barrier? Not Here! Worried about language requirements? Fear not! English is the primary language at HENNGE, so fluency in Japanese is not required.

Internship Details
The HENNGE Global Internship Program is a training program without a salary. However, to support you during your stay, we provide a monthly subsidy to cover living costs such as accommodation, meals, and commuting expenses.
Since the program’s inception in 2010, we’ve built a friendly network that ensures every intern feels at home and gains the most from their experience both professionally and personally. Many former interns have even joined us as full-time staff.

Qualifications
Essential:
- At least a third-year student or fresh graduate with a BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science or a related field
- Proficiency with Python or Go
- Knowledge of Unix/Linux environments
- Programming experience in any language
- Fluency in English (Japanese not required)
- Interest in open source or tech community activities
Preferred:
- Interested in pursuing a career in Japan
- Interest in cloud computing
- Knowledge of distributed systems
- Experience in full-stack web application development
- For front-end engineering: Proficiency in TypeScript with React/Vue/Svelte
- For DevOps: Knowledge in AWS and Terraform
