Gigster Full Stack Engineer Position Overview
As a Full Stack Engineer at Gigster, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and deploying high-quality software solutions. You will work on both the front-end and back-end of our applications, ensuring seamless integration and functionality across the entire stack. This role is ideal for individuals with a comprehensive understanding of software development and a strong desire to drive innovation.

Key Responsibilities
- End-to-End Development: Take ownership of the full software development lifecycle, from concept and design to deployment and maintenance. Develop scalable and efficient solutions for both the front-end and back-end of applications.
- Collaborative Problem-Solving: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and other engineers, to build and refine features based on user feedback and business requirements.
- Code Quality and Optimization: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code. Continuously optimize applications to enhance performance, security, and user experience.
- Technology Integration: Integrate third-party services and APIs, ensuring smooth interoperability with existing systems and technologies.
- Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies. Contribute to the ongoing improvement of development practices and processes.
Technical Expertise
To excel in this role, candidates should have a strong grasp of the following technical skills:
- Front-End Technologies: Proficiency in modern JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js. Experience with HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles.
- Back-End Technologies: Experience with server-side languages and frameworks such as Node.js, Python (Django/Flask), Ruby on Rails, or Java (Spring Boot).
- Database Management: Knowledge of both relational databases (SQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB). Ability to design and implement efficient database schemas and queries.
- API Development: Expertise in building and consuming RESTful APIs and GraphQL services. Understanding of API authentication and authorization mechanisms.
- DevOps Practices: Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), and orchestration tools (Kubernetes). Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure is advantageous.
- Testing and Debugging: Proficiency in writing and executing unit tests, integration tests, and end-to-end tests. Strong debugging skills to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.
- Version Control: Experience with Git for version control, including branching strategies and pull requests.
