The Orange Corners Designs Program 2024
The Orange Corners Designs Program, a new initiative by the CDI supported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands, is now accepting applications for its first Cape Town cohort starting in July 2024. This program seeks visionary entrepreneurs whose businesses are ready for growth and committed to making a positive impact in under-resourced communities.

If you meet these criteria, you may be eligible to apply for the Orange Corners Designs Program, which will incubate you for 10-12 months with intensive business and mentoring support.
Selection Process:
Criteria for Application:
- Focus: Priority is given to ventures led by youth and women entrepreneurs in under-resourced communities.
- Legal and Regulatory Compliance: Your business must be registered with the Companies and Intellectual Property Commission (CIPC), be tax compliant, etc.
- Track Record: Your enterprise should have a history of traction and/or market research, or demonstrate the skill of the applicant.
- Viable Idea: You must have conducted market research.
- Commitment: You must show dedication to your entrepreneurial journey, overcoming challenges with resilience and perseverance.
- Vision, Mission, and Purpose: Clearly articulate a vision for social change and community empowerment.
- Innovation: Offer innovative products, services, or opportunities that address pressing needs in your community or region.
- Basic Business Information: Provide operational, financial, or other relevant details.
- Availability: Must be willing and able to take time off from your business to participate in the program.
