Eligibility Criteria
For Postgraduate Applicants:
- Admission: Must possess a full-time admission letter from any Federal University in Nigeria.
- Academic Qualification: A minimum of a Second-Class Lower (2.2) degree in an oil and gas/management-related field. A minimum of merit in a second-degree certificate in an oil and gas-related discipline.
- Secondary Education: At least 5 credits in WAEC/SSCE/NECO results (not more than two sittings).
- NYSC: Certificate or letter of exemption.
- Indigeneship Certificate: Proof of state of origin and Local Government.
- Personal Statement: At least 1000 words for Master’s applicants.
- PhD Applicants: A research proposal of not more than 6 pages relevant to the oil and gas industry.
For Undergraduate Applicants:
- Enrollment: Must be full-time students in any Federal University in Nigeria.
- Academic Level: Currently in the 200 level of study.
- Field of Study: Courses related to the oil and gas industry.
- Secondary Education: 5 credits in WAEC/SSCE/NECO including English Language and Mathematics.
- Admission Letter: Possession of a valid admission letter into the university is mandatory.
- CGPA: Minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 3.0 on a scale of 5 or equivalent to 2.2 in the first year.
- Transcripts: Must provide transcripts for the first year of study, signed and stamped by HOD/Exams Officer or authorized personnel.
Scholarship Benefits
Undergraduate Students:
- First-Year Reward: N625,000 (N500,000 per year plus a laptop)
Postgraduate Students:
- Annual Reward: N700,000 plus a laptop
