Job Description
We are seeking a creative and talented Website Designer with a strong portfolio and a deep understanding of user experience principles. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating visually appealing and user-friendly websites that align with our brand and objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Design and Development:
- Conceptualize original website design ideas that enhance simplicity and user-friendliness.
- Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps.
- Develop and maintain front-end functionality.
- Design client-side and server-side architecture.
- Build the front-end of applications through appealing visual design.
- Develop and manage well-functioning databases and applications.
- Write effective APIs to integrate website/app with backend servers.
- Test software for responsiveness and efficiency.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade software.
- Write technical documentation.
User Experience and Interface:
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders.
- Ensure technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
- Optimize websites/apps for speed and scalability.
- Ensure designs are responsive across platforms and devices.
Content Management:
- Work with CMS to manage website content.
- Regularly update website content to meet branding and marketing goals.
- Create security and data protection settings.
Testing and Quality Assurance:
- Test websites/apps across browsers, devices, and OS to ensure functionality.
- Troubleshoot and resolve design or usability issues.
- Perform UI/App tests to optimize performance.
- Fix bugs or other coding issues.
Education and Experience
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Full Stack Development, Web Design, Graphic Design, Multimedia Design, or a related field.
- Relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Experience:
- Strong experience in Desktop, iOS, and Android app development.
- Extensive portfolio of web design projects.
- Proficient in graphic design software (Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch).
- Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other web design languages.
- Experience with ReactJS, TypeScript, NextJS, and API integration.
- Experience with Linux systems.
Skills and Certifications
Skills:
- In-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development, deployment).
- Excellent understanding of UX/UI design principles.
- Proficient in multiple front-end languages and libraries (e.g., HTML/CSS, JavaScript, XML, jQuery).
- Proficient in multiple back-end languages (e.g., C#, Java, Python) and JavaScript frameworks (e.g., Angular, React, Node.js).
- Proficient in databases (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB), web servers (e.g., Apache), and UI/UX design.
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and Git.
- Excellent time-management skills and ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Certifications:
- Certifications in software development and web design, UX/UI design, or related areas are a plus.
- Certifications in programming languages (e.g., Java, Python).
