About the Role

What You’ll Do
As a Content Writer at Kuda, you’ll wear many hats and take on a variety of exciting responsibilities:
- Content Planning: You’ll be the mastermind behind our editorial calendar, planning and organizing content development to keep our audience engaged and informed.
- Content Creation: Craft compelling, grammatically flawless, and thoroughly researched articles, landing page content, blog posts, and social media updates that showcase our brand’s voice.
- SEO Optimization: Ensure that all content meets SEO best practices to boost our online visibility and reach.
- Help Centre Management: Oversee the Kuda Help Centre, ensuring it’s a valuable resource for our customers.
- Editing and Proofreading: Polish content produced by various teams across Kuda to maintain high standards of quality and consistency.
- Trend Research: Stay on top of the latest trends and news in the Nigerian and global fintech sectors to keep our content fresh and relevant.
- Brand Consistency: Master and consistently use Kuda’s unique brand tone in all content you create.
What We’re Looking For
We’re searching for someone who brings a combination of creativity, skill, and passion to the table:
- Experience: You should have at least three years of experience writing for recognized tech, news, or finance brands.
- Writing Skills: Strong writing and editing abilities are a must, along with excellent attention to detail.
- Digital Savvy: A solid understanding of digital content strategies and SEO best practices, including keyword research and integration.
- Passion for Fintech: A genuine interest in fintech and writing for a Nigerian audience is essential.
- Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to work well with others.
- Tech Skills: Experience with content management systems is a bonus, but not a deal-breaker.
