Amy Consulting is assisting a Senior Executive and Entrepreneur in recruiting a dedicated and professional Executive Assistant. This role is vital for ensuring seamless administrative and operational support, allowing the executive to focus on strategic leadership.

Location: Lagos, Nigeria

Salary: N350,000 per month

Job Summary

As an Executive Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting the CEO with daily administrative and operational tasks, ensuring that the executive’s schedule runs smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide daily support to the CEO by managing priorities, clarifying assignments, and resolving outstanding issues.
  • Keep the CEO organized, punctual, and well-prepared for upcoming tasks and activities.
  • Manage the CEO’s calendar, including planning and scheduling meetings, conferences, and teleconferences.
  • Assist with meeting preparations and, when required, represent the CEO at meetings in their absence.
  • Accurately record meeting minutes and follow up with participants to ensure action items are completed.
  • Prepare, retrieve, and manage corporate records, documents, and reports for the CEO.
  • Conduct research and prepare data and documents for the CEO’s review and presentation.
  • Draft letters, documents, and communications on behalf of the CEO.
  • Arrange travel and accommodation for the CEO, managing their travel itinerary.
  • Handle incoming emails and correspondence, sorting and responding on behalf of the CEO as needed.
  • Provide general administrative support to the CEO to facilitate effective executive functioning.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A first degree in any field is required; a Master’s degree is preferred.
  • Previous experience as an Executive Assistant is essential.

Required Skills and Competencies

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize daily tasks.
  • Capability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment.
  • Proactive problem-solving skills and strong decision-making abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and uphold professionalism at all times.
