Eligibility Requirements:
To be eligible for the FCM Foundation Scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Must be a female Muslim undergraduate student.
- Currently enrolled in the 200 or 300 level at one of the 22 eligible universities.
- Must have a minimum CGPA of 4.5 or equivalent.
- Must be willing to attend a one-day mentorship session in person in Lagos, Nigeria, scheduled for November 2024.

Required Documents:
Applicants must submit the following documents to be considered for the scholarship:
- Student Identity Card: A valid ID card from the applicant’s institution.
- Reference Letter: A letter from a reputable Islamic organization, on official letterhead, addressed to The Executive Director, First Class Muslim Foundation, Lagos, Nigeria. The letter must genuinely reflect the character of the applicant; generic letters will lead to disqualification.
- Current Result Slip: Showing the student’s CGPA with the signature (and possibly the stamp) of the Head of Department (HOD).
- Personal Statement: A 400-word statement detailing why the applicant should be considered for the scholarship. The statement must be original; the use of AI tools for its creation is strictly prohibited. Submissions will be evaluated for plagiarism or AI derivation. Format requirements: Century Gothic, font size 12, 1.5 line spacing, with the applicant’s full name at the top.
