Job Description
As a Backend Engineer at Mecho Autotech, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining serverless architectures for our backend systems. Your role will be crucial throughout the entire application lifecycle, focusing on coding, debugging, and collaboration within an agile environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement highly scalable, efficient, and robust serverless architectures using Node.js.
- Write well-designed, testable, and efficient code following best practices in software development.
- Integrate user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic.
- Collaborate with the product team to analyze requirements and design solutions that meet business goals.
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- Identify bottlenecks and bugs and devise solutions to these problems.
- Maintain code quality, organization, and automatization.
- Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in serverless computing and the TypeScript ecosystem.
Requirements
- Proven work experience as a Node.js developer with a focus on serverless architectures.
- Solid understanding of Node.js asynchronous programming, its quirks, and workarounds.
- Experience with AWS Lambda, Microsoft Azure Functions, Google Cloud Functions, or similar serverless platforms.
- Proficiency in TypeScript.
- Experience with serverless frameworks.
- Knowledge of event-driven programming in Node.js.
- Familiarity with code versioning tools such as Git.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a dynamic, agile team.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
