The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining visually appealing and user-centric websites. This role requires expertise in tools such as GitHub, Figma, WordPress, various eCommerce platforms, and content management systems (CMS). Your work will involve not just creating websites but ensuring they are optimized for performance and security.
Key Responsibilities
- Website Design & Development: Develop and maintain responsive websites using modern design principles and best practices. Your designs should be both visually compelling and functional.
- UI/UX Design: Use Figma to craft intuitive user interfaces that prioritize user experience while ensuring the aesthetic quality of the websites.
- Content Management: Efficiently manage website content using CMS platforms to ensure seamless integration and functionality.
- eCommerce Solutions: Design, develop, and manage eCommerce websites that deliver smooth user experiences, secure transactions, and effective product management.
- Version Control: Utilize GitHub for version control, collaborative development, and project management, ensuring smooth workflow and project delivery.
- Optimization & Maintenance: Regularly update and optimize websites for performance, security, and SEO, keeping them aligned with the latest web standards.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, content, and IT, to deliver cohesive web solutions that align with business goals.
Qualifications
- Experience: Proven experience in web design and development, with a strong portfolio showcasing your previous projects.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in GitHub, Figma, WordPress, and various eCommerce platforms. Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other web technologies.
- CMS Knowledge: Experience with content management systems and an understanding of best practices for web development.
- Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills with an attention to detail, ensuring high-quality output.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with various teams.
- Additional Skills: Experience with SEO, web analytics, performance optimization, and familiarity with other design tools and development frameworks is an added advantage.
