UNICEF and NerdzFactory Company Limited need highly qualified experts to join their team. This opportunity involves providing Third-Party Monitoring (TPM) services across multiple countries in the Western and Central African Region (WCAR).

About the Third-Party Monitoring Opportunity

UNICEF/NerdzFactory aims to support the effective implementation and monitoring of critical initiatives in the fields of Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH), Health (HIV), Nutrition, Education, and Child Protection. Positions Available

  1. WASH Experts
  2. Health Experts (HIV)
  3. Nutrition Experts
  4. Education Experts
  5. Child Protection Experts

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive field monitoring activities and site visits.
  • Collect and analyze qualitative and quantitative data.
  • Engage with local communities, partners, and beneficiaries.
  • Prepare detailed reports following established standards and guidelines.
  • Ensure compliance with ethical standards and protocols.

Eligibility Criteria to join NerdzFactory

WASH Experts:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Water, Sanitation, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in WASH roles within humanitarian or development settings.

Health Experts (HIV):

  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Medicine, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in HIV program implementation and monitoring within humanitarian or development settings.

Nutrition Experts:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Public Health, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in nutrition program implementation and monitoring within humanitarian or development settings.

Education Experts:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Social Sciences, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in education program implementation and monitoring within humanitarian or development settings.

Child Protection Experts:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Law, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in child protection program implementation and monitoring within humanitarian or development settings.

Preferred Expertise

Experts with experience or based in the following countries are highly desirable:

  • Nigeria
  • Ghana
  • Sierra Leone
  • Liberia
  • The Gambia
  • Cameroon
  • Togo
  • Benin
  • Guinea
  • Niger
  • Burkina Faso

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong understanding of the local context in the specified countries.
  • Experience working with international organizations.
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in French is an advantage.
  • Excellent data collection, analysis, and reporting skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and manage complex projects.
