Roles and Responsibilities:
As an ExxonMobil intern, your responsibilities will include:
- Pre-packing of drugs and arranging them in appropriate dispensary shelves.
- Assisting pharmacists in dispensing drugs and counseling patients on their use.
- Supporting pharmacists in administrative tasks such as compiling requisitions, inputting drugs received into the system, and maintaining records.
- Conducting stock taking, recording drugs received into bin cards, and managing inventory.
- Unpacking, shelving, and packaging drugs, and preparing them for shipment to various locations.
- Assisting in quarterly stock taking and recording invoices into appropriate registers.
- Preparing cargo manifests for shipments and filing relevant documents.
- Undertaking any other duties as assigned by the head of pharmacy.
Eligibility Requirements:
To be considered for the ExxonMobil Graduate Internship, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- A Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy with a minimum of a Second Class Upper division.
- Completion of NYSC within the last 2 years.
- Registered as a member of the Pharmacy Council of Nigeria (PCN).
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Strong interpersonal and problem-resolution skills.
- Excellent communication and counseling abilities.
- Commitment to high standards of work and timeliness.
- Proficiency in computer software and email applications.
- Effective presentation skills.
