Position Overview:
Urban Hive is seeking a skilled Mobile Developer / Fullstack Developer to join our team on a part-time basis. This role is perfect for individuals who excel in a startup environment, can manage tasks independently, and are passionate about developing high-quality mobile applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with React Native and be familiar with various cloud technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain mobile applications using React Native, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Utilize third-party libraries and APIs to enhance app functionality.
- Publish and manage mobile apps on Google Play and the App Store.
- Engage in agile development processes, including sprint planning, task management, and code reviews.
- Implement version control and continuous integration using tools like Git and Jenkins.
- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code that adheres to industry standards.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in mobile development with a focus on React Native.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a startup environment with minimal supervision and manage remote work effectively.
- Experience in publishing one or more mobile apps on Google Play or the App Store.
- Proficiency in using third-party libraries and APIs to extend app capabilities.
- Familiarity with cloud technologies such as AWS, GCP, or similar platforms.
- Experience working within an agile development framework.
- Strong skills in version control (Git) and continuous integration (Jenkins).
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Beneficial Skills: Knowledge of additional technologies like React, Node.js, and other full-stack development tools.
